Summer has finally arrived and I LOVE this weather. Warm days filled with sunshine and the sun doesn’t set until after 8. Life is just better for me in the summer. Do you have a favorite season? The colors in this month palette reminded me of the 4th of July. I created 3 different cards for this month’s Color Fusers Blog Hop July 2025 and can’t wait to share with you!

My Projects:

Naturally, with it being summer here on Long Island, I reached for my new Sunrise Sailing Stampin’ Bundle to create my card. However, 3 different designs wounder up being created. That’s one of the great things about Stampin’ Up! product, the possibilities are endless.

Card #1

The first card I went with the color block theme. I often like to showcase the colors this way. Grab your trimmer and let’s get started.

• Cut card base 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″
• Score at 4 1/4″
• Each strip cut 1 1/4″ x 5 1/4″
• Cut Cherry Cobbler rectangle 2 3/4″ x 3 1/4″
• Basic White trim to 2 1/2″ x 3 “
• Die cut the large sail boat
• Stamp water in Night of Navy ink
• Stamp sentiment in Smoky Slate
• Assemble card as shown

Card #2

On the second card, I decided to use the embossing folder to create the design. Using the lower part of the folder to give texture to the water, I used Blending Brushes to shadow the edge of the paper with Smoky Slate Ink. You will need the Stylish Shapes Die Cuts for the Circle and Square. I used Night of Navy Ink for both sentiments.

Card #3

Lastly, the third card I did a quick fun fold that I have used numerous times.

• cut card base 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
• trim the Country Lace DSP 1″ x 4″ (2) in one pattern and 3″ x 4″ (1)
• die cut from the Spot Light on Nature Die Cuts a circle in Night of Navy
• stamp images as shown and die cut
• stamp the sentiment in Night of Navy Ink
• assemble as shown
