Color Fusers Blog Hop January 2025

Happy New Year! I hope you had a great holiday and are back in the swing of crafting! As for me, the holidays falling mid week, made me rather lazy! I didn’t craft as much as I wanted, didn’t clean and organize as much as I wanted either. HOWEVER, I did make my project for the Color Fuser Blog Hop January 2025. Want to see?

My Project!

As I always do, I grabbed the cardstock for the color combination and then hit my stamp collection. I knew I wasn’t looking to make anything snow related as the colors scream snowflakes to me! Starting January 7th, the new mini catalog goes live as well as a new set of Online Exclusives. I pulled out what I had preordered (a demonstrator perk!) and was debating between two. The final pick, Spring Corners, an online exclusive item.

The Details:

Yes, a bunch of layers to highlight the 3 colors for this month’s color combination. Grab your card stock and trimmer!

cut balmy blue card base 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″
score at 4 1/4″
cut blueberry bushel 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″
cut basic white 4″ x 5 1/4″ (one card I kind of messed up with the cutting – I know, there is no wrong with cutting – so when I made the second card – I am posting those measurements)
trim smoky slate card stock 2 1/4″ x 5″ and DSP 2″ x 4 3/4″
trim blueberry bushel 2 1/4″ x 4″ and 2″ x 3 3/4″ (emboss)
lastly cut balmy blue 1 3/4″ x 3 1/2″ and 1 1/2″ x 3 1/4″ (stamp with dot image from stamp set)
stamp balloons
smoky slate and color with stampin blends
stamp happy birthday in blueberry bushel and corner sentiment in smoky slate
assemble as shown
finish with ribbon and a little wink of stella on the balloons!
