Sale-a-bration Card Club Class
Hello everyone! Is it really January 27th! Like how did January go by so fast! Sale-a-bration is well under way and each class I try to share something from the promotion because believe it or not it’s HALF OVER!! February 29th the items will be gone forever! So in the mean time, let us look at my Sale-a-bration Card Club Class for January.
Card #1
It was all about the hearts on this one for me. I just received my adoring hearts bundle and was chopping to create with it. I love the large die that cuts out 9 hearts with one application! Time saver when making mass producing! The Most Adored Designer Series Paper is part of Sale-a-bration. IT IS FREE with a qualified order. I love the red and white and touch of flirty flamingo. The flip side is all white with gold foil design! Can we just say it’s pretty and add to your cart!
the details:
- cut card base 4 1/4″ x 11″
- score at 5 1/2″
- cut layering card stock 4″ x 5 1/4″
- emboss with the coordinating embossing folder (LOVE IT!)
- cut DSP 3 3/4″ n 3 3/4″ – picture below shows how I cut the triangles (you can make smaller 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ to show more of an edge)
- stamp celebrate and punch with 2 3/5″ circle punch
- die cut flirty flamingo hearts for the center
- add ribbon bow
- assemble card as show
- finish card with an embellishment
Card #2
I am not one for showcasing one color. I do find it challenging to add color when only one color is dominate in a design in the DSP. This adoring heart fun folded card features anothr design from the Most Adored DSP pack. (Have I shown you, you need this paper?) I love the marbled paper look and choose it as. layer on the card. I used a large stamp for the sentiment and then added a simple flower that color coordinates with the DSP. Of course the mascara to my card, the ribbon, was added to make it complete.
the details:
- cut card base 4 1/4″ x 11″
- score at 5 1/2″
- cut off 2 3/4″ from one end to use as the layer on the Happy Birthday sentiment
- cut white card stock 2 1/2″ x 4″(sentiment), 2 5/8 x 4 1/8″ , 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″
- cut dsp 2 1/2 x 4″
- stamp sentiment in flirty flamingo
- stamp flower in memento ink
- color with stampin blends
- fussy cut flower and add to sentiment layer with adhesives
- assemble card as shown
- wink of stella the flower, add gems and ribbon!
Notecard #1
Note cards get a bad wrap. I love them actually. They are smaller in size but pack a good punch! I switched DSP for the notecards so that I can share more Sale-a-bration items. Yes, you already know what is coming…you need this paper too!
the details:
- cut layering card stock 3 1/4″ x 4 3/4″
- cut DSP (2) 1 1/2″ x 1 1/2″ and (2) 1 1/2″ x 3″
- assemble card
- add ribbon
- stamp sentiment in coordinating color
- stamp flower in memento ink
- color with stampin’ blends
- punch out with hexagon punch and one in black
- adhere to card front
Note Card #2
Do you love how cheery this paper is? Different color combinations and different styles of designs. I do love when simple geomatric shapes are included in the pack. It makes it easier to decide on pairing. Well sometimes it does.
the details:
- cut card base 3 1/4″ x 4 3/4″
- cut DSP 3″ x 4 1/2″ (you will make 10 card fronts from one 12″ x 12″)
- punch 6 hearts from the bee builder punch
- stamp sentiment and punch
- punch 6 hearts to create flower – see picture on placement
- add your ribbon
- assemble
- add embellishments to finish the card

Bonnie’s Winter Retreat!
It is only a few weeks and the deadline to RSVP is February 1st. One of the best parts of this weekend, I get to spoil all those that attend!
