Paper Pumpkin October 2023 with Alternative Cards

Catching up on Paper Pumpkin kits sometimes is hard to do. However, I made it a goal of mine to not fall behind AND to make alternatives with kits at least every other month. October’s Home for the Holiday was a QUICK kit to assemble. Stampin’ Up! created a this kit with large images that required minimal stamping that I was finished in no time. I completed it with enough time to finish November too! WHAT! I know, a bit crazy. Let’s look at the Paper Pumpkin October 2023 with alternative cards.

Paper Pumpkin October 2023 Alternatives

After creating the cards suggested by Stampin’ Up! I came up with 4 other designs. Each uses pieces from the kit. Nothing too complicated, just a few fun folds.

Happy Holidays with the denim ribbon

• It sits on Navy card stock (4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″) and Mossy meadow (4″ x 5 1/4″)
• white card stock 3  3/4″ x 5″ and 3″ x 5 1/2″, score 1/2″ to form the opening of the card
• sponge balmy blue after cutting the moutain look
• trim the village piece to fit on the white
• stamp sentiment
• tie the knot and the card is complete

Wreath Card

• real red card base 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ score at 4 1/4″
• layer white 4″ x 5 1/4″
• emboss with the Snowflake Sky embossing folder
• cut old olive 2″ x 5 1/4″
• trim the back of the envelope to 1 3/4″ (just under the wreath) then centering the wreath – trim it to be 2″ in width
• layer the wreath on real red card stock
• stamp sentiment

Old Olive with a flap

• card base 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
• cut one of the tree cards 4″ x 5 1/4″
• cut real red 3 1/2″ x 4 1/2″, score at 1/2″ with the 4 1/2″ along the top
• trim the house card 3″ x 3 3/4″ (center the design)
• stamp sentiment

White card base

• card base 4 1/4″ x 11′
• score at 5 1/2″
• cut real red 4″ x 5 1/4″
• cut white card stock 3 3/4″ x 5″
• emboss with Snowflake Sky embossing folder
• cut old olive 3″ x 4 1/2″
• cut white 2 1/2″ x 4″
• stamp snowflakes along the top
• trim red house card 2 1/2″ x 3 3/4″
• stamp sentiment
• tie ribbon
• adhere old olive to card base wthe dimensionals
