Stampers Dozen Blog Hop November 2021

Here we are, November 14th, 2021! Completely crazy that there is one month left before we ring in the new year. 2021 has been a difficult year for many, however it also has been the best year for many. I fall somewhere in the middle. It has been a roller coaster of a ride and I long for the days where travel is normal, going to live Stampin’ Up! Events is normal and having people fill my house for classes is normal. I am grateful that many of my customers have continued to shop with me, craft with me or simply check in with me. One of the best things about being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator is the friendships you create along the way.  I am thankful for this blog because it keeps me connected to this talented group of women. Let’s take a look at the Stampers Dozen Blog Hop November 2021.

My Project:

With the theme “grateful” for this month, anything really fits that sentiment. I chose the Lovely You stamp set with the Pick a Banner Punch. I highlighted the In Colors from 2020-2022 as well.

The Details:

Rarely do I make just one card when designing. I love to create 2 so I may show a different color, a different pattern, a different sentiment. As you see, I created 3 cards and each are slightly different. One thing great about making cards, you have more than one possibility! Grab your supplies and let’s get started.

  • cut card base 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″
  • score at 4 1/4″
  • cut one piece of “Bumblebee” 3 ” x 5 1/2″ and another at 2 3/4″ x 5 1/2″
  • cut one piece of Basic White 2 3/4″ x 5 1/2″ and another 2 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
  • stamp images from Lovely You creating your own designer paper on the Basic White card stock
  • stamp sentiment to coordinate with your card base
  • using pick a banner punch, create both the sentiment and layering piece
  • tie ribbon around the layering piece as shown
  • adhere sentiment
  • add champagne rhinestones for some needed bling
