Color Fuser Blog Hop June 2021

And just like that, June 2021 is here!  How is that possible? We are in the 6th month of the year WOW! Time is moving quickly and I am constantly feeling I am rushing to get in everything.It’s Sunday night as I write this post. The project is due tomorrow and I haven’t started. I am excited though, this month the color combination are the new 2021-2023 In Colors. The 5 new colors are so pretty, I can’t pick my favorite yet. My Project!

So where to start? It wasn’t too hard. I mean seriously look at the colors I get to work with! This past week I ordered the Turtle Friends Bundle and knew it was the set I wanted to use. It’s a simple card, perfect for a birthday card! Do you love it?

Quick Tip!

This past weekend, I was on a zoom call with some Stampin’ friends crafting. My friend Amy, shared a GREAT tip with lining up the stripes on my card. Using the Stampin’ Up! Grid paper place your card stock to line up with the grid. Then take your stripes and line them up with the grid for placement. It was so easy to space them evenly and STRAIGHT!! I skipped one square in between each In Color. I have to admit, this quick tip is awesome. Thank you Amy!

Details:

Grab your supplies and trimmer!

• cut card base 4 1/4″ x 11″
• score at 5 1/2″
• cut layering piece 41/8″ x 5 5/8″
• cut white card stock 4 x 5 1/4″
• In Color strips cut 3/4″ x 4 1/4″
• once adhered to the card stock, trim off excess
• add ribbon before attaching to card base
• die cut bracket of your choice
• stamp turtle and shell and punch
• stamp hat and trim
• sentiment is stamped in Evening Evergreen
• assemble card
• add gems
