Love of Leaves Card #2
Hello! Have you seen the holiday catalog? It is packed with goodies that I am a little overwhelmed with where to start and what to purchase. I also must admit, page after page this catalog has the most amazing product! I have to get back into the swing of things and last week I held my first in person card class. Nothing crazy just 2 people but it was a START! It felt amazing having them here and I can not wait to have more in person classes. I know it is what I need to keep myself focused with sharing online as well. The Love to Leaves #2 card had a special technique to it that I made a quick video to share with you. See, it’s a start, in person classes and a video!
The Details:
- cut card base 4 1/4″ x 11″
- score at 5 1/2″
- trim off from one end 2 3/4″ x 4 1/4″
- this is the layering piece for the sentiment
- cut two 2 1/2″ x 4″ pieces of Whisper White Card Stock
- cut inside layering piece 4″ x 5 1/4″
To create this card you will need baby wipes and ink refills. I chose three colors Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry and Perfect Peacock. The card stock was also used as well as Bumble Bee Gingham Ribbon and Pretty Peacock Ribbon.

Hopefully you found the video helpful? It is a little messy with the baby wipes, however, the ink will come off your hands! Don’t be afraid to try it and I would love to see the results!
Fall is approaching!
With summer coming to an end, school is set to start with limited days but I truly hope it is a start to students going back to school. I will be working on fall and holiday cards. I have my Holiday Card Club that meets every month and if you are interested, LOCAL or OUT OF TOWN customers are always welcomed. This is the best way to create cards and not stress!
