Color Fusers Blog Hop December 2019
December 2nd, the first Monday of the month and the last Color Fusers Blog Hop for the year! The past week has been a blur to me as my father unexpectedly passed away. Trying to regain my creativity, the Color Fusers Blog Hop December 2019 could not have come at a better time. His favorite color was blue and how appropriate this month there are 2 shades featured in the color palette.
My creation:
I will admit, I pulled out A LOT of stamp sets and went online for inspiration and time passed and nothing was created. Finally, I said to myself just create something! It is a simple card, a past dies set paired with the new Holiday Host Set, Greatest Part of Christmas. Overall, I am happy with my simple, clean cut, holiday card for this month’s blog hop. I hope it will inspire you as well!
The Details:
- cut card base 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″
- score at 4 1/4″
- cut layering piece 4″ x 5 1/4″
- cut Whisper White 3 3/4″ x 5″
- stamp the Christmas Greeting in Blueberry Bushel
- die cut the deer from the Detailed Deer Dies Set
- die cut the floral spray for the upper right corner in Seaside Spray
- cut silver foil sheets 3″ x 3 3/4″
- add bow in Blueberry Bushel to deer
After your card is assembled, add some rhinestones and then mail to someone special.
Time to hop!
Well that wraps up my card creation! Below you will find my supplies I used. Have fun hopping through for some Stampin’ Up! inspiration!

Bonnie,
I came here following a pinterest link…but wanted to let you know that I’m so sorry about your loss. Dads are an irreplaceable lodestar in our lives. Cherish the time you had, the memories that remain, and friends and family that will help you through this rough time.
Thank you for your sweet words. Day by day is how I am tackling this unexpected event. He was still young and not sick, so still a bit of a shock. Thank you again!
