Color Fusers Blog Hop November 2019
November 4th is here, that means two things! One it is my youngest son’s 14th birthday and two, it is time for another blog hop! The Color Fusers Blog Hop November 2019 is not one to disappoint! I love the 3 colors chosen and created 2 cards quickly and working on the third. Be sure to check back within the week for the other projects using this month’s color palette.
Christmas Gleaming
The Christmas Gleaming Stamp Set is featured in the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog. It is part of a bundle that includes 2 ornament punches. Can we get excited! Under the stamp set picture, you will see my card! I chose to color the Holly image with Stampin’ Blends. Every time I use the Stampin’ Blends, the more I love to color!
The Details:
- cut card base 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″
- score at 4 1/4″
- cut layering card stock 4″ x 5 1/4″
- to save on the Copper Foil Sheet, I cut two 1/2″ x 5 1/4″ strips and attached to Whisper White card stock to give it a border
- cut Whisper White card stock 2″ x 5 1/4″
- stamp in memento ink the Holly image from the stamp set
- color with the Stampin’ Blends
- using embossing buddy, wipe over card stock
- stamp in versamark the dots from the set
- sprinkle Copper Embossing Powder on top and pat off the excess
- heat with Heat Tool
Stamp sentiment and punch with the 2″ circle punch. I layered the sentiment with the Starburst Punch. Yes, I fussy cut a Holly image and attached it to the sentiment. I love how it all came together in the end!

Beautiful card!!!
thank you so much! It was fun coloring the holly in Pretty Peacock, I really wasn’t sure of it at first. I tried the card in Old Olive as well and it looks so pretty in that color too!
Wow….this card is so pretty!
