Color Fusers Blog Hop August 2019
Yay! It’s the first Monday of the month and that means the Color Fusers Blog Hop August 2019 is live! I love doing this blog hop each month. Why? It is a challenge to create using specific colors and normally the selection is one I would never think of using! Truth be told, I would never think to use the Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana and Pretty Peacock together. Blackberry Bliss looks fabulous with all those shades but layering the teal colors was a challenge. Let’s see what I created for the Color Fusers Blog Hop August 2019.
Sea of Texture
Once I selected a stamp set, Sea of Texture, I knew it would be a great choice with the color palette. I will admit, I wound up making 2 more cards using the same colors and created a class! One of the great things about Stampin’ Up! is the variety of product offered can create numerous projects. I will be sharing the other cards later this week so be sure to check back in! The Sea of Texture stamp set has coordinating dies, Under the Sea, I loved all the little pieces in the dies collection that I used most of them on the card. I did stamp my layer of Coastal Cabana with one of the stamps. The lovely Octopus, I tried in both Blackberry Bliss and Pretty Peacock but as you can see, Pretty Peacock was the winner! Inside the small sand dollar, I put one of the new In Color Faceted Dots. Great item to have if you do not own them, you NEED THEM!
