Note Card Featuring the Country Floral Embossing Folder

Today’s post is a note card featuring the Country Floral Embossing Folder.  The note card is part of my Sale-a-bration Card Club.

Sponge Daubers to color:

As you can see from the picture above and below, I used sponge daubers to color the embossed part of my card stock.  The tip I can offer, go gently over the raised design with a sponge dauber.  Yes, it’s not perfect, however, there is NO WRONG in art so have fun!  That’s why we create, to do something fun and creative!  I started with Pool Party then Lemon Lime Twist and finished with Calypso Coral.  Once the flowers and leaves were colored, I went back over the dots with the Pool Party dauber.  Again, the key is to go slow and gently so you can control the ink onto the embossed card stock.

The Details:

For the note card:

• cut Pool Party card stock 3 1/4″ x 4 3/4″
• cut Whisper White card stock 3″ x 4 1/2″
• emboss with Country Floral Embossing Folder
• cut Painted Seasons Designer Series Paper 1″ x 4 1/2″
• die cut Stitched Shape Oval Framelit
• die cut Layering Oval Framelit
• sponge dauber embossing folder
• tie satin ribbon
• stamp sentiment in Calypso Coral and attach to card with dimensionals
