Note Card #1 from February Card Club

Last month’s Card Club have been delayed with posting to my website.  It was a crazy month of traveling for me.  My oldest son plays college baseball and I was fortunate enough to travel to his Spring Training locations.  The only downside, I couldn’t keep up with my website and sharing.  I am currently away, but sharing today Note Card #1 from February Card Club.

Part of My Story!

For February’s Card Club, I focused on 2 Sale-a-bration products on all 4 card designs.  The Part of My Story Stamp Set has several sentiments ideal for cards.  On note card #1, I chose the I’m so glad you are part of my story because I have a few friends in mind to send this particular card too.  Friendships are so important to me and often a quick sentiment like a handmade card truly brightens someone’s day.

Card Details:

To create note card #1:

• cut Basic Black 3 1/4″ x 4 3/4″
• cut Botanical Designer Series Paper 2″ x 4 3/4″
• using Stampin’ Blends, color the butterflies with your favorite colors
• cut 1/2″ strips to coordinate with your chosen colors
• adhere to Basic Black layering piece
• add ribbon
• adhere to card base
• attach bow with glue dot
• stamp sentiment in Black Memento Ink
• using a 2″ Circle Punch, punch out sentiment
• layer with the Starburst Punch
• using Butterfly Duet Punch, punch small butterfly
• add a rhinestone before placing onto card

Bonnie’s Card Club!

On the 4th Tuesday of every month I hold a my card club class in my home.  Each month, I design 4 cards (2 regular cards and 2 note cards) around a stamp set.  January through March, I focus on Sale-a-bration Items, April through June,  All Occasions and July through December, all about Holiday Cards! It is an excellent way to keep up with your card collection.  I provide directions for all cards for club members.  There is a 6 month commitment, a $30 order each month due by the 15th of the each month and one month you receive $15 in FREE merchandise.  You can join any time, out of town customers are welcome to join.  I prep all cards (no stamping) and mail after class (additional $6 monthly fee to cover shipping costs.)  Contact me if you are interested!  I love adding new members to my card club!
