Color Fusers Blog Hop March 2019

First Monday of the month is here and that means so is the Color Fusers Blog Hop March 2019!  This month the color palette consists of Gorgeous Grape, Highland Heather and Smoky Slate.  I chose to pick a Bundle from the Annual Catalog that I have not touched since the catalog went live in June 2018.  Yes, there are sets I order and do not get a chance to create with as quickly as I can.  I have had my eye on the Thank You Thinlit since day one and I am so glad I got to use it on my project this month!

A Big Thank You!

As I mentioned, I decided to pull out an Annual Catalog Bundle, A Big Thank You, for this month’s blog hop.  I recently celebrated my 50th birthday and am in need of Thank You cards.  So besides posting on the site about my card, they will soon be heading out of my home to thank a few special people for remembering my birthday.  It was a great day and I embracing this new decade. On my card I used Sponge Daubers to create the shaded look on the Thank You Framelit.

A closer look:

I love how this turned out.  It was so easy to color theThank You Thinlit with Sponge Daubers.  A small tip, make sure to go slowly when shading to avoid ripping the die cut.  At the bottom of the card I stamped the outline stamp first followed by the filler stamp to make my own Designer Series Paper.  The Organdy Ribbon from Sale-a-bration should be returning later in the week as it is shown on my card. The card base is 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″.  Each layer is 1/4″ smaller to complete the ideal look.  Of course adding a few rhinestones always makes me smile.
