Lovely as Tree Stamp Set with the Buffalo Check Stamp

An oldie but goodie, the Lovely as a Tree Stamp Set never disappoints. I have used the single tree on so many cards and have yet to get tired of it. It is a classic stamp set and probably my oldest stamp set in my collection that is not retired. The Buffalo Check Stamp Set, part of the holiday catalog, is amazing and each time I use it, I try to mix it up. Today’s card features the Lovely as Tree Stamp Set with the Buffalo Check Stamp for a fabulous holiday card!

Stampin’ Blends with the Buffalo Check!

Just by taking a ruler and my Cherry Cobbler Dark Stampin’ Blend, I change the whole look of the Buffalo Check Stamp Set. I wanted to add some of the Cherry Cobbler into the plaid and it was so simple! I love how the finished product came out! The Wink of Stella was added to the tree image and it did make it “run” slightly. However, I love how it created a shadow look and filled in the tree.
