Color Fusers Blog Hop November 2018
It is here, the first week of November 2018! Crazy, how fast this year has gone by. I am really excited about this week though because tomorrow I am off to Orlando to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Stampin’ Up! How amazing is that! I can’t wait to see what is in store for this attending. However, before I leave, today is the first Monday of the month and that means, Color Fusers Blog Hop November 2018 is being posted!
The monthly color palette!
When I first looked at the colors, I really wanted to go over the top and do something other than a card. October was a crazy month and although I don’t have a full time job outside of Stampin’ Up! I never have enough time to do all the things I want to do. As I mentioned, I am heading out of town and made over 100 cards to bring all with different color combinations then the one for this month’s blog hop. My card was purposely created for the blog hop. After stamping with Healing Hugs, I decided to share a few variations. The Bermuda Bay and Coastal Cabana colors compliment each other so nicely. I know in my pictures it may be a bit hard to see the contrast but the Coastal Cabana is lighter and was used on the top layering piece. The rose is stamped in Bermuda Bay.
Healing Hugs Stamp Set:
I know it is all the rage right now to create Holiday Cards. I took a small break to make a few Get Well Cards to feature the selected palette of colors. The Healing Hugs Stamp Set is located in the Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog and is know as a distinktive stamp set. The “distinktive” stamp set means it was developed from a photo. If you look closely at the rose, it is pretty neat to see all the layers.
