Paper Pumpkin September 2018

Another adorable Paper Pumpkin kit arrived last month, just in time to set me into the Halloween mood! Being able to create some cute projects just makes me smile. The Paper Paper Pumpkin September 2018 kit, Frights and Delights, offers 24 treat bags to deliver to trick or treaters OR how about a few alternative ideas with the goodies from inside the special edition box?

The projects:

Adorable treat bags were the project this month. Three different pattens and three different Halloween symbols to place on the outside of each bag. I love the variety and how easy they were to create. Directions are always included and are all the supplies needed to complete the projects except for scissors and a clear block.

Alternative Projects:

This month, I took a moment and created a few alternative projects showcasing the Frights and Delights kit. I really love how versatile the kits can be each month. The stamp set of course will come in handy for other projects and I love the die cuts to place on items as a main focal .

The Details:

For the card:

Simply cut strips of card stock and 1 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ and adhered to a piece of Whisper White 3 1/2″ x 4 1/2″. Next, I ran it through the big shot with an embossing folder. I then placed it on Whisper White 3 3/4″ x 4 3/4″ card stock. Next came some black cord between the layers of card stock before placing the sentiment and ghost to the front.

For the Note Card:

I used 3″ x 6″ piece of card stock and scored at 3″. I stamped a few stars and moons in Pineapple Punch before placing some twine and the pumpkin on my card.

For the Candy Wrapper:

This is one of my favorite treat wrappers – so simple to make that I just made this video to show you! Grab a 6″ x 6″ piece of Designer Series Paper and create one while you watch!
