Flourishing Phrases with Stampin’ Blends

When I am designing my card classes I often look through my stock of stamp sets and see if one jumps out at me. The Flourishing Phrases Stamp Set was introduced a few catalogs ago and it immediately caught my eye. I love the scroll, love the coordinating thinlits and I love coloring the floral scroll in a variety of colors. Do you like the Flourishing Phrases with Stampin’ Blends?

Selecting a color

The Stampin’ Blends worked so well with this stamp set, picking one color was too hard. For my class, I let everyone pick which color and then cut card stock to match. Every color paired with Night of Navy worked! Normally, stamping with the Memento Ink is recommended with the Stampin’ Blends, but I found the Night of Navy did not “bleed” once colored with them. I added the thinlits to the card and finished with a sentiment from the stamp set. I am thrilled I made the card as were my customers.
