Falling For Leaves Bundle Part 1
On Sunday, I finally sat down and created not one but three cards featuring the new Falling for Leaves Bundle. The bundle was introduced in the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog on September 5th. Have you seen it? It sure is an ideal bundle for the fall. Let’s take a look at my Falling For Leaves Bundle Part 1 card.
Color Combination:
I will be honest and let you know this was actually the last card I created with the bundle on Sunday. The other two will be spotlighted later this week and once you see the others, it may give you an “ah-ha” moment as to why this particular color combination came to light. Whenever I craft, I really think about colors and providing options with color combinations. I knew Crumb Cake is a fan favorite and pairing it with just about any color works. However, I wanted a delicate soft color and Powder Pink won over Blushing Bride and Petal Pink. As I was creating, I had the Powder Pink Shimmer Ribbon to add to my card but I switched it to the Petal Pink Metallic Ribbon at the last moment. I loved the flecks of gold in the ribbon and felt it tied in so nicely with the Crumb Cake. Stampin’ Up! products truly create masterpieces time and time again!
Tin Tile Embossing Folder:
Another new item that I am sure if it isn’t in your collection will soon be added! It looks amazing on all card stock, especially the Foil Sheets. I included a video below showing some tips and samples from Home Office. I am so happy to finally have mine and equally delightedly I added it to my card. Using sponge daubers, I lightly colored over the design to include both colors featured on my card. The sponging softened the Whisper White card stock perfectly.
Extra bonus – a home office video!
Falling For Leaves Bundle:
The Falling for Leaves Bundle, of course makes you think fall. However, I believe this particular bundle will be a bundle that can be used time and time again. I am thankful so often by a person’s kindness that the sentiment is a quick favorite of mine.
