Color Fusers Blog Hop July 2018
Happy July! Yes, already feeling the heat leading up to the July 4th holiday! What a perfect way to show the patriotic colors of red, white and blue than on a card. The Color Fusers Blog Hop July 2018 features 2 new colors, the return of one and of course a favorite Whisper White. Are you ready to blog hop?
My creation!
When the colors were posted by Debbie our organizer, I immediately thought perfect July color combination with the July 4th celebration here in the United States. However, I didn’t really do anything symbolic to the flag but the colors sure make me smile when they are grouped together. Having just received my Darling Label Punch Box, I knew I had to use it! Pure, clean and bright colors made the finished result one I really like!
The Details:
I picked the Swirly Frames Stamp Set because it worked well when I paired it with the Tufted Embossing Folder. Wanting the dots from the folder to stand out, I colored them with the Stampin’ Up! Chalk Marker. I forget I had one and look how well it shaded the dots. Lastly, adding the new Poppy Parade Mini Striped Ribbon completed my card.
After I finished, I was staring at the other mini striped ribbon in Bermuda Bay and Gorgeous Grape and before I knew it, I had 2 more cards created featuring the same layout.
The Darling Label Punch Box!
In the Annual Catalog on page 209, you will find the adorable Darling Label Punch box. It includes a punch, photo polymer stamp set, 2 ink spots AND a clear block for $45. I immediately placed it on my wish list and could not wait to order. I am looking forward to creating more with this special assortment of product!

Well that covers my creation for this month’s Color Fusers Blog Hop. I hope you liked my simple card in the colors featured as well as the other two color palettes. Stampin’ Up! offers a variety of colors and narrowing it down to only a few can be hard. I am glad there is no limit in changing up color combinations and creating!

I love that tufted embossing folder – it was one of the first things I ordered when I could. Without the chalk marker the folder is awesome however, the chalk marker really made it pop for me! I truly appreciate your comment! I love sharing and LOVE when I get feedback! Have a great day!
