You Are My Anchor Framed Art
Adding to my collection of framed art, the most recent one was a HIT with my customers. Who doesn’t love a nautical theme? I for one, love things that are nautical. It could be because I grew up boating in the summers and absolutely love the beach and lighthouses. You Are My Anchor Framed Art is perfect to welcome the summer!
The Details:
The main stamp set featured in my framed art comes from the Paper Pumpkin Kit You Are My Anchor which was shipped in April 2018. I instantly fell in love and knew I had to create not only the projects included in the kit but an alternative project. My customers really enjoy making framed art, as do I, so it was a no brainer to create one to share. First up was to find Designer Series Paper to coordinate with the nautical theme. I chose the Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Paper and one sheet from the Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper and began to design away!
Finishing Touches!
Each of the squares are 3″ x 3″ and layering pieces are 2 3/4″ x 2 3/4″. Once the 9 squares are created, assembling sometimes worries people. I place 1 1/4″ spacers in each corner and place a mini glue dot on each square and begin my placement. After all is placed, I fall in love with my creation! I hope you do too!
Paper Pumpkin!
I knew the You Are My Anchor Paper Pumpkin Kit from April 2018 was going to be a favorite. The note cards and holder provided in the kit are adorable and the color combination is perfect to kick me into the spring/summer mode! Inside each Paper Pumpkin Kit, the project is prepped and ready to be assembled within a 30-45 minute timeframe. Scissors and a clear block are necessary but other than that, everything is included in each kit.
Paper Pumpkin Video!
As you can see in the picture above, super cute projects with a summer feel. Calypso Coral and Island Indigo (recently retired) work so well together on the cute notecards. I had a lot of fun making all the cards and plan on handing out the notecard and holder as end of the year teacher gifts. Check out the video Home Office provides each monthly highlighting the kit!

Thanks for the tip about lining up the corners!! I make these samplers all the time, but just kind of “wing it” for lining up! What a great tip!! Love the sampler too!! I hope to do one using our new Tranquil Times DSP!
I am so glad the spacers helped! I used to use a ruler – crazy! Then the spacers were an AH-HA moment!! I am not sure what I want to do for my next sampler. I am trying to think! thanks again for the comment 🙂
