True Gentleman Designer Series Paper with Truly Tailored Bundle!
My focus this week has been about the beautiful assortment of Designer Series Paper Stampin’ Up! has in the Annual Catalog and Occasions Catalog. Whenever a catalog is about to reach it’s end date, the Designer Series Paper often retire. I for one start the process of trying to create one last time with each pack. Today’s post features the True Gentleman Designer Series Paper with Truly Tailored Bundle!
Two cards, one bundle!
With my All Occasions Card Club meeting tonight, I knew I wanted to feature at least one card with the Truly Gentleman Paper. Masculine cards are needed just like all other greeting cards. I created a simple card featuring the paper as well as the coordinating bundle, Truly Tailored. Last month, at my Second Street Stampers Team Meeting, one of the make and takes featured the paper as well! I had yet to post it here so what better way to tell you about BOTH cards then in one post! Two for one!
Truly Tailored Greeting Card!
Again, the first card, is part of my monthly Card Club. It was a quick card and I am sure club members will love how duplicatable it is! Simply take a piece of Designer Series Paper (2″ x 5 1/2″) and use the Banner Triple Punch to create the banner. Next adhere it to the Tranquil Tide embossed card stock (4″ x 5 1/4″) followed by attaching some ribbon down the middle before placing on the card base. To create the sentiment, punch out a few in each of the colors represented in the Designer Series Paper. Overlap half way, to create the layer look. The Crumb Cake Tailored Tag Punch piece was cut in half to make a border for the sentiment. A nice card to give to a man.

At my team meeting, I wanted to demo the technique of creating a pattern with the Tailored Tag Punch. I love how it showcases several of the patterns in the True Gentleman Designer Series Pack. I punch several of each and attach them to a 3″ x 4 1/2″ piece of card stock (Night of Navy in this case.) Once I finish, I adhere the layering piece to a Tranquil Tide piece of card stock (3 1/4″ x 4 3/4″) before the final step of placing on a Very Vanilla Note Card Base. As for the sentiment, I cut the Tranquil Tide card stock in half and slightly separated it so the Very Vanilla with the greeting could be placed over. My team members enjoyed creating their own card to share with their family, friends and customers.

These cards are great but the links to purchasing the papers and stamps show that these products are no longer available. Bummer
Hello, Mary Lynn. Yes the stamp set and the designer series paper have retired as of 5/31. HOWEVER, with so many other options to choose from, the cards can easily be recreated. Have you seen the new Designer Series Paper? REALLY AMAZING PATTERNS and the punch is still available. Let me know if I can help in any way in finding an alternative stamp and paper.
