On February 16th, Stampin’ Up! released 4 additional items to Sale-a-bration 2018.  I waited way too long to receive my goodies from the second release.  I am so happy the Sale-a-bration Springtime Foils Speciality Designer Series Paper has arrived!  Love, Love, Love!

Sale-a-bration Springtime Foils Speciality Designer Series Paper has arrived!

It took a bit longer than I had hoped, but finally I was able to sit down and create a card, well 2 cards with the new Springtime Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper.  The second designed card will be posted later this week on an upcoming blog hop!  YAY!

Let’s talk about the beautiful silver foil present on two of those 12 x12 sheets!  Immediately, I wanted it paired with the solid Silver Foil Sheets and Smoky Slate.  I then of course found the Basic Gray Stitched Satin Ribbon and before I knew it, the card was designed.  I flipped the paper on the cards just to show the possibility and the fact that there really is no wrong in art.

Card Measurements:

• card base 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″
• score at 4 1/4″
• layering piece (Smoky Slate) 4″ x 5 1/4″
• designer series paper 2 pieces at 1 3/4″ x 5″ (the ribbon will cover the gap!  Cutting them 2″, you would have to overlap)

Move Me Thinlits

The Move Me Thinlits are part of the Love Move Me Bundle in the Annual Catalog.  However, I keep using just the butterfly die cut because I love the detailed shape of it!

I used the Silver Foil Sheets as the outline over the Basic Gray card stock.  It is so pretty!  Adding the Clear Faceted Gem accomplished the look I wanted to achieve.

Sunday Funday!

Do you find that there is never enough time to craft as much as you want!  I wanted to create so much today, however, my son was home from college and just visiting with him and doing family things was a great way to spend my day!  Back on track tomorrow because these Sale-a-bration Items are leaving WAY TOO SOON!
