Mixing Sale-a-bration Products with In Colors 2016-2018
It often amazes me that adding a simple color to black and white patterns hits me like a kid in a candy shop! Granted, I would love to be kid in a candy shop as I LOVE CANDY! I am trying so hard to curve my sweet tooth. Crafting definitely helps keep my mind off candy for most of the time. The card featured in today’s post, I wanted to create something green for St. Patrick’s Day. I have made cards in the past for St. Patrick’s Day, but I was a bit behind with focusing on some other projects that this simple and QUICK card of mixing Sale-a-bration Products with In Colors 2016-2018 was just the candy I needed!
Sponge Daubers!
The flower from the Amazing You Sale-a-bration Stamp Set has been featured on several of projects. I love the outline imaged because it can be colored with numerous items. However, on the You’re the Best card, I chose to highlight the flower with Sponge Daubers! Super quick dab into the ink color and then applying to the center of the flower took no time to achieve the look I was looking for. I added two flowers to the inside of the card because I forgot how fun it was to add color using Sponge Daubers. If you do not already own them, purchase them through my online store and use them on your next project. I am sure you will love how easy the little sponges work on your projects!
In Colors 2016-2018
Coming soon there will be a whole new set of In Colors to add to the wonderful collection of colors offered by Stampin’ Up! I am try to guess what the colors will be included! I love not knowing but I also would appreciate a little hint, right? In the meantime, the 5 In Colors from 2016-2018 will be retiring on May 31st. If you like any of the 5 colors, be sure to stock up on your favorite color of supplies before it’s too late. In my online store, you will find the following items featuring the 2016-2018 In Colors: stamp pad, REINKERS, card stock, markers, ribbon and Designer Series Paper featuring any of the colors. On today’s cards I used Emerald Envy and Flirty Flamingo.
