Yesterday my post was about the 8″ x 8″ Framed Art that was part of my Lovely Bingo Bash Event on February 3rd. Today, I will be highlighting the Hersey Nugget Treat Boxes that were included as make and takes. Hope you enjoy Lovely Bingo Bash Part 2.
Lovely Bingo Bash Part 2:
At my “special events” I try to do something unique. I have my card classes, club class and scrapbook class on my schedule, so at events, I try to do a 3-D project of some sort. For the Lovely Bingo Bash, not only did my attendees make the framed art, but they also made adorable chocolate nugget treat boxes.
Hershey Chocolate Nuggets:
It is safe to say, many people love chocolate, crafters included. Decorating Hershey Nuggets are easy. Simply cut 1″ x 3″ strips of Designer Series Paper. Use mini glue dots to wrap the paper around the chocolate. The hardest part of the project is picking out which paper to showcase. I put 6 nuggets in each box to display all 12 patterns included in the Painted with Love Speciality Designer Series Paper Pack.
Acetate Boxes:
The Acetate Boxes offered by Stampin’ Up! were a hidden gem in the Holiday 2017 Catalog. Lucky for all of us, Stampin’ Up! carried the item over! They work perfectly for gift giving cards with envelopes or in this case delivering chocolate treats!
I absolutely love how easy it was to create with these lovely treat boxes. A big shout out goes to my fellow demonstrator Melody who shared hers and I had to create my own! A simple cut in half of the box creates 2 treat boxes. Add paper, treats, ribbon and a small sentiment and project complete!
Treat Box Measurements:
- cut Acetate Box in half at 4″ (leave completely flat)
- cut Painted with Love Speciality Designer Series Paper 4 1/2″ x 4 1/2″
- score at 3″ and 3 1/2″
- adhere to the outside of the box with glue dots
- tie a ribbon (approximately 18″ long) around the box
Added touch:
I added the I “heart” you by using the new Sale-a-bration Level 2 Celebrate You Thinlits to the box. The Sweet & Sassy Framelits are perfect for anything requiring a heart. 15 different hearts are included in the package.

Bonnie, your three bingo projects are fabulous! It’s mind blowing because I’ve always heard to only do quick Make ‘n Takes for the projects. How long was your entire bingo event and was that enough time to finish the projects?
Hi! This was the first time I held my Bingo on a Saturday and I was more laxed with time…however, we were finished with all projects and all games just over 3 hours! I do prep a lor but everyone finished. That’s always my goal – doable, finished projects. Everyone had a great time and already want the date of the next one.
