December birthdays are challenging. With the holiday madness, I love creating special cards for my friends celebrating their birthdays this month. I created today’s card rather quickly. It highlights the Winter Wonder Embossing Folder. Do you love the folder as much as I do?
Winter Wonder Birthday!
Along with the Snowflake Sentiment stamp set (the middle of the snowflake), the Winter WInder Embossing Folder is headed for retirement. I am creating several projects before they leave the Stampin’ Up! inventory on January 2nd. I love showing cards that feature holiday items as something else. In this case, with many December birthdays, I thought it would be fun to send to those celebrating. The “It’s Your Day” is from the Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set.
Heat Embossing:
It is tricky at times to get the embossing powder to only go on the stamped image. Although it is speckled, I still love how the Gold Embossing Powder highlights my sentiment and the snowflake. Using an Embossing Buddy is definitely helpful.
