The weather today is a bit gloomy, windy and cold! I am so not a fan of cold weather! Mid 70’s all year round or warmer would be ideal for me! However, my children have zero desire to move from Long Island so I just have to accept that winter is approaching! At least I can create cute holiday cards inside my warm cozy craft room! Today’s card features The Season of Cheer Holiday Card, the fourth card from my November Christmas Card Club.
Season of Cheer Holiday Card!
The variety of patterns in the Christmas Around the World Designer Series Paper is AWESOME! I love the pattern on this particular sheet because of the London phone booths! I was in London this past July and it reminded me of my trip. What a wonderful city to visit! Hope you don’t mind if I share a few pictures.
Christmas Around the World:
As you can see the assortment of patterns is perfect for Christmas! Many sheets have vibrant colors and then a few are more subdued. I used several of the patterns to create numerous holiday projects. The Christmas Tree is part of the Santa’s Sleigh Stamp Set and Thinlits. I love the shape of it and it was ideal to use with the paper. Stampin’ Up! products make creating so much fun! Card Fold:
The card fold, as my customers refer to it “the Bonnie fold,” is one I often do. It’s a basic cut of 4 1/4″ x 11″ and scored at 5 1/2.” With the 11″ across the top of the trimmer, I CUT a 2 3/4″ piece off. This is used for the top portion of my card. I layered the inside of the card with a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Pool Party and stamped a border on the edge. Stamp the words on a 2 1/2″ x 4″ Whisper White Card Stock. The card was a hit at class!
