It’s winding down, the posts on holiday card and project creations. I have a few left this week to share. It went so fast this month! It’s already the 17th of December! How did that happen! My last card class of the year is tomorrow. All the cards feature “snow” items that will easily work for sending cards to loved ones. The Merry Little Labels Bundle is featured in today’s post.
Merry Little Labels Bundle
I received the Merry Little Labels Bundle as a gift from Stampin’ Up! while I was on the Thailand Incentive Trip. It is one of those bundles that the stamp set has bold images and makes an impact on your design. The coordinating punch works beautifully with the several of the sentiments and the Layering Ovals or Layering Circles Framelits are an excellent alternative as well.

One pattern was not enough!
Whenever I hold a class, I try to always show 2 samples. It may be one in a vertical pattern and one in a horizontal pattern. It could be to change the color palette or maybe change the sentiment. For my Merry Little Bundle Card, I am using up the last of my holiday Designer Series Pattern Paper. The simple switch of the pattern paper, ribbon and sentiment, changes the card to look more festive than the black, red and white card featured in the first picture. The Christmas Around the World Designer Series Paper featured 2 plaids that are both awesome to work with. I chose the one with the Garden Green to make it a bit more Christmas.

Directions:
The card is a simple layout that you can easily duplicate.
- cut card base 4 1/4″ x 11″, score at 5 1/2″
- cut Real Red 4″ x 5 1/4″
- select Designer Series Paper and cut 2″ x 5 3/4″
- using the Banner Triple Punch to create the banner (you may have to trim the Designer Series Paper)
- emboss Real Red Card Stock with Oh My Stars Embossing Folder
- tie ribbon
- add Foil Snowflake
- die cut a Lots of Labels Layer for sentiment
- adhere sentiment
