Just home from Salt Lake City, it’s time for the Stampers Dozen Blog Hop for November 2017! This month the focus is on Stampin’ Up! foil products. Foil products are perfect for holiday creations! I hope you enjoy the projects!
Stampers Dozen Blog Hop for November 2017:
The focus for this month was foil products. On my cards, I chose to highlight a few items because picking one was too hard! Do you run into that “problem” as well? Stampin’ Up! products are so amazing and often when you combine products the results are stunning. For the Snowflake Sentiments greetings, I embossed them with our gold embossing powder. It works like a charm!
All Year Cheer Speciality Paper:
I rarely use a 3 3/4″ x 5″ piece of DSP on cards. However, I am so glad I did! The All Year Cheer Speciality Designer Series Paper is excellent for holiday card making as well as numerous holiday related projects. Stampin’ Up! provides a quick video highlighting the Year of Cheer Product Suite from the Holiday Catalog. It is worth a look, not only am I in love with the paper, but the additional foil items, washi tape, stamp set and WINTER WONDER EMBOSSING Folder are ideal for holiday projects!
A small detail on the envelope!
You can see the Winter Wonder Embossing Folder was used on the Whisper White Envelope. A small detail on the envelope resulted in a big WOW!
A small tip!
When you run the foil sheets through the big shot, place an index card over the framelit or thinlit. This helps prevent the foil paper from receiving bumps or scratches from the big shot plates.
I hope you enjoyed my simple but elegant card. Holiday card making is by far one of my favorite things to do! Be sure to visit all the featured projects today. I hope they inspire you to create your own foil project!
