Living on Long Island, the winter can sometimes be mild and sometimes not so mild. I for one would rather have warm sunshine rays warming my days then pretty snowflakes falling outside. I don’t mind the snow just prefer warm weather. However, creating snowflake cards I LOVE. Especially when I add Foil Snowflakes on Holiday Cards, it makes me smile.
Foil Snowflakes on Holiday Cards
When I first created the card, I picked the neutral colors of Crumb Cake, Early Espresso, and Very Vanilla. People tend to lean towards this color combination as it is soothing, at least to me. They blend nicely together and using the gold Foil Snowflake added the hint of shine I needed to complete my card.
Another Color Combination:
I could have easily picked Pool Party or Soft Sky paired with the Basic Gray and Whisper White, however, I was drawn to the Powder Pink. The silver Foil Snowflake once again does not disappoint when I placed it behind my sentiment from the Snowflake Sentiment Stamp Set. This particular card is perfect to mass produce as there are not many layers. Simply tying a bow, adding either rhinestones or pearls will finish the card.
Foil Snowflakes:
Unfortunately, earlier this month the Foil Snowflakes were on back order. But their status has changed and they are back in stock! With the holiday season fast approaching, I am sure the Foil Snowflakes will continue to be a hot item. Don’t miss out on purchasing your own to complete your holiday projects.
I hope you will have fun creating your own holiday projects with the Foil Snowflakes. If you turn the snowflake over, it is white. Do you know what that means? You can leave it white OR add some color to it and make it coordinate with your creation! Do you love knowing there are multiple alternatives when using Stampin’ Up! products? I sure do!!!

I am more of a blue girl than a pink girl (I guess being a mom of 3 boys…I like blue LOL) however, I really like how the powder pink looks with the basic gray 🙂
