Tis the Season!
Often I tell myself there is no wrong in art. If you look closely, my two-step stamping of the candles, as with the words, are slightly off. I didn’t fix it because no art is perfect. The patterns for the candles make the card look unique. I also love the shadow look on the words by being slightly off. Add some Crumb Cake ribbon to the corner and my Merry Patterns Card is complete.
Card Fold:
The card fold is one I often do. It’s a basic cut of 4 1/4″ x 11″ and scored at 5 1/2.” With the 11″ across the top of the trimmer, I CUT a 2 3/4″ piece off. This is used for the top portion of my card. I layered the inside of the card with a 4″ x 5 1/4″ piece of Crumb Cake and stamped a border on the edge. Stamp the words and candles on a 2 1/2″ x 4″ Whisper White Card Stock. The card was a hit at class!
