Trick or Treat! I for one LOVE candy! Every year, the boys, well now just Kraig, go out, knock on doors and say Happy Halloween. We collect a large bag full of treats that we sort through once we are home. After selecting a few favorites, we donate the candy to our orthodontist. The office collects the candy and sends it to our troops. Each year the boys try to better last year’s collection. While they have their candy, I have my card making. I love creating cards, especially for holidays. Created specifically for Halloween, a card featuring the Seasonal Chums Bundle!
Happy Halloween!
Surfing on Pinterest can truly make your “to create” list LONG. Having just received my Season Chums Bundle, I knew it was a priority to create a Halloween Card with it. The pumpkin image is just too adorable! On the card, I used my circle framelits to cut the circle and placed a piece of 3″ x 3″ black pattern paper from the Merry Little Christmas Designer Series Paper behind. Using an Aqua Painter with reinkers, I quickly colored in the pumpkins. Finish with fussy cutting the pumpkins and adhering with Mini Dimensionals.
Seasonal Chums Bundle:
Another bundle I said I didn’t need and then I couldn’t resist that cute little reindeer. All 3 images are wonderful for crafting. Do you have a favorite? I have not created a lot with the bundle since it just arrived, however, I have 2 samples to show you in the same layout. Sometimes switching color combinations and the main focal point gives you a whole different look! It took me no time to create the second card.
A Second Look at the Set:
An easy layout to reproduce makes owning this bundle ideal for the holiday season. I chose the snowman to create the second card. Using Stampin’ Up! markers, I colored his hat, scarf, and mittens. I love all the additional pieces included with the Seasonal Tags Framelits. The addition of the two snowflakes in the Silver Glimmer Paper was the embellishment I was looking for to complete my card.
Holiday fast approaching!
November I am sure will go as quickly as October. Next week, I head to Salt Lake City for a Stampin’ Up! event know as OnStage. I can not wait to see my Stampin’ friends! The event involves a few days of training and gathering with some amazing people. I am a presenter at the event and can not wait to share! In the meantime, I will be sharing holiday creations throughout the month as it will be here in no time. If there is a particular set you would like to see featured, leave me a comment. I would love to create especially for you!
Be sure to head over to my online store to pick up your holiday goodies and get started with crafting!!!
