The moment you see a stamp set and think you can pass it over, is often short lived. From the start, I had my eye on the Painted Harvest Stamp Set. I knew it would be perfect leading into the Fall season. The flower, the leaves and the greetings, all help to create the best fall project. As you can see, my sunflower cards with the Painted Harvest Stamp Set does not disappoint! I love I left everything flat on the card stock and added the new Jute twine to finish my card. Simple but powerful impact!

Card Measurements:
- Pumpkin Pie Card Base 4 1/4″ x 11″
- with the 11″ across the top, score at 5 1/2″
- Soft Suede Card Stock 4″ x 5 1/4″
- Very Vanilla Card Stock 3 3/4″ x 5″

Stamping the flower:
As you can see the images (flower and leaves) are a two step process. I chose Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie inks to create my sunflower. On the large flower, stamp the lighter color first and follow with the smaller flower (more detailed) in the darker ink. Simply stamp right on top to create the dramatic two-toned look. You can move the smaller stamp around until you get it right where you want it.
Inside the flower:
The inside circle of the flower can be a bit tricky. With the set being photopolymer, you can see where to place it. My tip, on scrap paper, stamp the flower and try the center a few times until you get the result you want. I kept turning my stamp until I got it right. The flower does have a slight curve to it and the circle pretty much covers it. It may not completely cover but it’s art and it will not ruin your project. There is no wrong in art!
