The excitement of a new catalog filled with must have product is always a wonderful day! Yesterday, the Annual 2017-2018 Stampin’ Up! Catalog went live! Did you see it? It is by far one of the best catalogs to date! The organization of the product and the pages of samples are awesome! My wish list, of course, is LONG and I will start chipping away at getting my favorites. One of my favorite items is the NEW Daisy Delight Bundle. I absolutely LOVE the punch. It is simple to punch and create several note cards at one time. For instance, my Daisy Delight Note Cards were made in little time. With the note cards already scored, I only needed to cut my layering card stock pieces. On the Crumb Cake card stock, I used the Petal Burst Textured Embossing Folder for dimension. You can easily use an assortment of colors and give the Daisy Delight Note Cards as a gift!

Note Card Details:
I am all about layering, even note cards! The solid card stock is cut at 4 3/4″ x 3 1/2″ with the Crumb Cake card stock trimmed at 4 1/2″ x 3″. The use of thick backer’s twine for the stem was nice touch. I fussy cut out the leaves from the stamp set. The center of the flower was stamped in Soft Suede and punched with 1/2″ circle punch.
The words for the cards came from the Banners for You Stamp Set. Several word choices to choose from to create a package of note cards.
Once I punched the flowers, I used Stampin’ Sponges to shade two of them. I am always trying to tweak my cards to show a variety. There is no wrong in art, so experiment when you are designing. You may be pleasantly surprised.
