The wifi in my home was acting up today and it delayed my post.  Today’s card features a soft palette with the Oh So Eclectic Stamp Set.  I received the stamp set at OnStage and have been wanting to use it but had to wait on the coordinating framelits.  I already made two cards with the Oh So Eclectic Bundle, and I have a third one in my mind to create!  I absolutely love when an idea you have in your head actually comes out like you planned.  The You Make Me Smile Card says it all.  The soft colors of Powder Pink, Sahara Sand and Soft Sky are sure to brighten someone’s day!

The Naturally Eclectic Suite:

By now, many of you have looked through the NEW Annual Catalog and highlighted your must have items.  My highlighted list consists of items I want to create!  So many fabulous items to showcase, including the Oh So Eclectic Stamp Set.  It’s actually part of Naturally Eclectic Suite found on page 132.  The suite has Natually Eclectic Designer Series Paper, Eclectic Layers Thinlits, 5/8″ Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon and Naturally Eclectic Card Overlays besides the Oh So Eclectic Stamp Set.

Soft palette with Oh So Eclectic Stamp Set

I was so happy with my color combination today, I made a few variations!  The soft palette doesn’t overpower the stamps and I loved I used the Sweet and Sassy Framelits for the greeting.  The stamp set offers 2 different flowers, that can be shaded with the solid stamp.  I chose Sahara Sand for the outline stamp and Powder Pink for the filler.  Adding a hint of Soft Sky finished the card design.  The words in the set were too small for the heart.  I picked different words and embossed them with White Embossing Powder.  I used the Eclectic Layers Thinlits to pop up two of the flowers and added Linen Thread tied in a bow.  Like I said, the card will definitely brighten someone’s day!

The New Catalog is packed with product and awesome ideas!  I am still finding something new each day!  It is one of our best catalogs!
