Have you ever wanted a personalized card where you can make it a certain year? What is so fabulous about our Number of Years Stamp Set and coordinating Large Number Framelits, you can make ANY number! 1st birthday, 14th anniversary, 2017 graduation, etc. all because you can personalize your card with Stampin’ Up! product. I chose the Number of Years Stamp Set with coordinating Large Number Framelits to create a 60th birthday card for someone at work. I also made another, switched out the card base color for an upcoming anniversary. The look is colorful and pleasantly pretty! At first, I only used the Rich Razzleberry for the numbers. Then I thought, highlight it with the RETIRING Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper would add bling. I love how BOTH cards turned out!
A closer look:
I took a closer shot of one card to show the detail. I know you probably could zoom in but it looks so pretty! I loved using the RETIRING Petite Petals Punch for the “TH”. Just a small detail like that made the card extra cute! The Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper does have a habit of getting on everything and you may notice the sparkle all over the card.
Measurements for card:
- Card base is 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2.”
- Rich Razzleberry layer is 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″
- Whisper White is 4″ x 5 1/4″ (I wanted this to be as big as possible so you would be able to see the flowers around the Layering Oval Framelit)
Oval Floral Arrangement:
Need help with doing the oval floral arrangement? I made 2 quick collages of my steps. The first group of 4, I used a Basic Black Oval (approximately 2 3/8″ x 3 1/4″) as a mask. I stamped with Wild Wasabi around the black oval. Don’t worry if some of the leaves stamp stamps onto the Whisper White card stock. The larger oval will cover the center.
Next, I removed the mask to stamp the flowers. As you can see my stamping is not perfect. It’s ok, because the finished project made me happy. I started with the “longer” flower and filled in with the smaller flower. I changed the color on the smaller flower as well. The Blushing Bride layering oval framelit is approximately 2 5/8″ x 3 1/2.”
