On a rainy day, a pretty pink flower can cheer you up. Spring is here but the weather is not spring like! Cold and damp and it is almost May! I am so looking forward to sunny days that are warm. I chose the Special Reason Bundle to create the cards above. The bundle is featured in our Occasions 2017 catalog. However, it is also on our Retiring Products List. After I made the cards, I found out the Stylish Stem Framelits were sold out. You can still purchase the stamp set which is on sale for $15 and cut out the flower with scissors. It is doable. If you have the bundle, you now have a new idea for a card. The flower was easy to create and in the video below I show you just how! The Glimmer Paper words are made with the Hello You Thinlits. You can take the packing off the glimmer paper to make it easier to cut, however, I left it on and ran it through my big shot an extra time. I did use liquid glue at first but found it messy so switched to glue dots to adhesive it to the card. It’s such a simple card but I love how the finished product looks! I hope you do too!
The video: I made it rather quick, I gave myself a set time to create the video. I apologize at that the end, my one flower looks yucky…but I didn’t want to not show the video. 🙁 I hope you enjoy the rest of the video. (yes, my hands are full of ink!)

I am still amazed that May is just around the corner. My oldest son is graduating this year. He’s a Varsity baseball player and I am trying to make each and every game. This is partly why some of my posts have been delayed. 3 boys ALL playing baseball makes for a lot of time on the field. I do love it so I am not complaining, just wish I had more hours to share my creations with you!
