Earlier in the week one of my downlines asked about a folded card she saw on Pinterest.  For the life of me the name of it did not register.  Thankfully, another team member found the name, Criss Cross folded card.  It then dawned on me, it had been quite some time that I actually made a Criss Cross folded card.  When I woke up on Saturday, I decided, I would create one.  I chose the Flower Patch Stamp Set because like the Special Reason Stamp Set, it is leaving soon.  It has several flower stamps but I chose the 5 pointed one to design my card.  Next up, selecting the color combination.  My best friend celebrated her birthday on the 21st and I asked what her favorite color was. (I should know this!)  Her response was purple.  With LIMITED purple shades in the Stampin’ Up! family, it was a a no brainer to pick Elegant Eggplant and Wisteria Wonder.

Measurements of the card

• cut Elegant Eggplant card stock 4 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
• cut 2 pieces of Wisteria Wonder card stock 4″ x 10 1/2″ and score at 5 1/4″
• cut Whisper White card stock 3 3/4 x 5″

To create the criss cross you will need your paper trimmer.  I made a short video showing you how the diagonal cut is made.
