The moment you realize April is here and Easter is a 2 weeks away, you slightly panic! That was me yesterday! I have been focused on Sale-a-bration for the month of March, I wasn’t thinking Easter! I whipped up these 2 beauties in no time! Mint Macaron, a 2015-2017 In Color, is set to retire on May 31st. A small piece of advice, don’t wait to order! You may try to plan and hope supplies will last until the end but most of the time, the card stock and reinkers are the first to go. I truly love this particular color as it is a completely different shade of green. It looks awesome with Basic Gray or Night of Navy and many others.
In the Easter Cards, I choose to use So Saffron to make my flowers and added Wild Wasabi for my leaf color. The over all combination fit perfectly to what I had in mind. You can easily change the color of the flower. This simple pattern will look good in many color combinations! Did you notice the Petal Burst Embossing Folder? I decided to see how it looked each way. I like how they both look. I almost think it looks like cobblestone.
To highlight the So Saffron flower which was created with the Swirly Scribble Thinlits, I used Wink Of Stella. It is not easy trying to capture the glimmer with my iPhone. I zoomed in. It really adds a nice shimmer to the flower. I love Wink of Stella!
Well, I am off to do errands before Baseball games later today. Many might not know, all 3 of my boys play baseball. My oldest, is a Senior in High School. He is the starting pitcher so I need to be on time. I love watching them all play! It is a wonderful thing, doing what you are passionate about. It just fills you heart!
