Each month Stampin’ Up! offers a monthly kit called Paper Pumpkin.  I have talked about it, I have presented on it at Stampin’ Up! Events and I continue to share it because I LOVE it!  Why?  For the simple fact it is created and set to me from home office.  All I have to do is open the box and enjoy what is inside.  Yes, there are times the projects are simple or maybe not what I would of wanted.  But, it does not change the fact that I love the kit and the idea behind it.

March’s kit, Bunny Buddies, sure was a HIT!  It was perfect for the upcoming Easter Holiday OR to welcome spring.  The projects were simple and adorable!  As you can see in the picture below.  However, let’s talk about the Flower NOTE Cards featured in the ABOVE picture.  I used the “bunny ear” to create the petal.  I have seen several samples online and decided I need to give it a try.  Using aqua painter and reinkers, I quickly colored in the petals!  I could of easily used my water color pencils as well!  Next time!   I took the “eyes” stamp and stamped the background to fill in the white space.  Of course, the card was not complete until I added ribbon.  Believe it or not I am OUT of Peek a Boo Peach Ruched Ribbon so I had to go with burlap ribbon.  I love the burlap ribbon so I wasn’t too heartbroken!  It makes me happy to mix my current supplies with Paper Pumpkin product.  Very versatile…..

I also created two more items with the RETIRING Crumb Cake Note Cards.  I am sad they are leaving BUT on a good note, Whisper White and NEW Very Vanilla NOTE cards will still be available!  I can adjust.
