Love this time of year…Sale-a-bration 2017 just added 3 new items to it’s promotion!!! On this particular card, I mixed the Delicate Details Stamp Set from the first release with the NEW 6×6 Glimmer Paper Assortment Pack from the second release! Have I mentioned, I love our glimmer paper? On page 175 of the Stampin’ Up! catalog, you will find 5 colors of 12×12 glimmer paper to choose from. NOW, with the 6×6 glimmer paper assortment pack you have 3 more colors to create projects with! What ever color you choose, it adds the right amount bling to your project! I used the Mint Macaron and Sweet Sugarplum on the cards shown. The colors are so spring like!
To create this card:
- cut card base (Bermuda Bay) at 4 1/4″ x 11″
- cut off 2 3/4″ x 4 1/4″ piece from the card base
- score the card base at 5 1/2″
- the piece you cut off from the card base, is for the “Happy Birthday” saying
- the (Mint Macaron) card stock is 4″ x 5 1/4″ for the layering inside base
- cut Whisper White to 2 1/2″ x 4″
The card is similar to the “Z” fold, except I use part of the fold for my saying instead 🙂
I have a little tip when you use our glimmer paper with our thinlits. If you start in a corner, you can peel the back off. It is then thinner and the thinlits will cut with glimmer paper with ease!
