Lucky for me, Stampin’ Up! created the Sending Love Suite in the Occasions 2017 Catalog! I love the shade of red, especially Stampin’ Up!’s Real Red. It’s a rich, bright red color and when it’s paired with Basic Gray it just pops! I mixed Annual Catalog product, Sale-a-bration 2017 product and product from the Sending Love Suite to create the card. I first embossed the card stock with the Happy Heart Embossing Folder. Next, I wanted to add a strip of the Sending Love Designer Series Paper Stack, but picking one from sixteen patterns was challenging, so I picked two! (I LOVE HEARTS!) Some of the 6×6 patterns can be used on projects well past Valentine’s Day! The adorable Basic Gray heart border and Silver Foil Sheet* heart are part of the Love Notes Framelits. The Sending Love saying is part of the Sealed with Love Stamp Set. Last but not least to finish out the card, I tied a bow around it with the new Metallic Ribbon from the Sale-a-bration 2017 Brochure! (FREE ITEM with a $50 purchase!) Everyone can use some love…

*Silver Foil Sheet Tip – to avoid getting lines on the silver foil sheet when I used the heart framelit, I place an index card over the framelit. It truly helps! (TRY IT – Big Shot platform, cutting mat, silver foil, framelit, index card, cutting mat)
I wanted to share a few 3×3 cards I made using other patterns from the Sending Love DSP stack. As I often say, endless possibilities with SU! products.

I really liked how you put the Basic Gray as an accent color to your card. It’s a neutral color and makes the red really pop. Nicely done!!
I really work with color combinations. I know some struggle trying to think of what colors will go. I love the Basic Gray with red and the metallic ribbon perfect embellishment to finish the card. 🙂
