When I first received mine, I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do. Numerous possibilities when you are working with black and white. On the card featured here, I choose to keep it color less. Yes, I could of colored in part of the paper, however, I like how crisp it looks in the black and white. I embossed the bottom half with the brick wall embossing folder and added a strip of black to separate the two papers. The bumble bee, with a hint of Daffodil Delight behind him, is part of the NEW Dragonfly Dreams Bundles found in the Occasions 2017 catalog.
Earlier this month, I was in Delaware with SU! friends for a crafting weekend. It was non-stop crafting with the new Occasion and Sale-a-bration products. Here are 3 cards, all featuring the Inside the Lines DSP with different coloring techniques. The biggest “WOW” was when my friend, Alisa, showed us how it looked using our sponge brayer. Super fun just rolling the color onto the card stock!!! The “HAPPY” card, I stamped the word onto the paper and then colored with SU! markers. Next, cut the letters and placed them onto the card where the image “HAPPY” is stamped. Lastly, the Calypso Coral Card was a part of the make and take at OnStage Local in November. This was the first time we were told that the watercolor pencils had returned!! AWESOME! No matter how you use the paper, each design works! That is one of the best things about Stampin’ Up!, you have choices!
