With many digital scrap book programs out there, I still LOVE to create traditional layouts. Each month I create a double 12×12 layout for a class. For my December 2016 class, I made a Christmas page which I have included in this post. When January’s class was posted, one of my customers asked if I knew my theme. Thankfully there has NOT been much snow, so I wasn’t feeling that. Instead, Nathalie suggested another holiday layout because she had a ton of pictures to scrap book. I figured why not, I have more pictures as well from the holiday! It was a bit tricky though. The Holiday 2016 Catalog ended on January 3, 2017 and I of course want to feature current merchandise. Lucky for me, I was able to use the NEW Happy Celebrations Stamp Set and Celebrations Duo Embossing Folders from the Occasions 2017 Catalog. I stuck with the traditional colors of red and green BUT added two shades of gray. My family and I have spent the Christmas Break at our place in Florida for the past 3 years. We love the warm weather, the bright sunshine and the beautiful beach! After all the holiday madness, it’s nice to relax with just the 5 of us!
Don’t feel overwhelmed to scrap book your memories. There’s no start or finish line. Just pick something to focus on and start there. Here is my December 2016 layout. I truly love what I do!
