Believe it or not, Valentine’s Day will be here before you know it! After the Christmas Season of card making, I had to change my thinking from Christmas trees and snowflakes to hearts! I reached for the Bloomin’ Love Stamp Set and it’s coordinating Bloomin’ Heart thinlits. With so many wonderful colors to choose from, I am so glad I picked these shades because I love how the card turned out. The Bloomin’ Heart thinlit (Whisper White card stock) I cut using the Big Shot. I used sponge daubers to shade it. Next, popped up a few flowers for some dimension and placed it on an embossed layer (Falling Petals) of card stock. A simple but elegant card. Don’t you think it is perfect for any time of the year, not just February 14th?

This is beautiful Bonnie!
Thank you! I’m so glad you like it. I was happy with the results too! Using sponge daubers is definitely helpful with blending the colors!
It’s lovely. A welcomed change from all of the holiday projects.
Thank you, Brenda! Yes, it’s been awhile since I created something with the Bloomin Hearts thinlits. I am glad I went with this color palette too! It was a nice change. 🙂
Bonnie … love your color combination. So soft and has a vintage feel to it. Love that stamp set and thinlit. Thank you for sharing your beautiful creation.
Thank you for your sweet comment. I too love the color combo. I wanted to use rose red (I haven’t not used it in awhile) and I knew blushing bride was a good match and ran with tip top taupe because of the ribbon. 🙂
